Anyone who subscribes to my mailing list knows that I use that thing a little like social
media- only, hopefully, not as obnoxiously– and the last few months have been peppered with news of my relocation.
Packing started in the beginning of April with a move date of mid-month. I had just published WOOD and was all excited about starting a quick little Raven short story that was supposed to be just for fun to keep me from losing my mind during the process.
Well! One thing led to another which translates into “A lot of friends came out of the woodwork to buy me drinks” and that story didn’t get finished on schedule.
It took me a few days to figure out where to stash my stuff, but I’m getting the hang of living on the bestie’s futon up here near Lake Tahoe. I found a corner to set up the computer where I don’t bother anyone with my night owl shenanigans and I’m back at work.
Look forward to a few more novellas in the Arranged Marriage (Raven Swann) series and another novel in my “Wild Romance” collection (I promised to write about some cows) coming over the next couple of months.
I’m excited to be back at the keyboard!
